We are the passionate group dedicated to blocking zoning changes to Wonderland Pier, a cherished amusement pier and historical treasure . While the most current amusement park itself is gone, a developer wants to replace over 100 years of tradition by replacing amusements with a 252 room hotel.
The area is not zoned for hotels. We believe a hotel would open the door for other boardwalk hotels pushing out our family friendly amusements, forever destroying our boardwalk and our Island.

A Commitment to Preservation
We are a grassroots organization formed by dedicated community members who recognize the value of Wonderland Pier. This amusement park is not just an entertainment venue; it's a piece of Ocean City's history. Since the early 1900's... the earliest years of our island, this parcel has always been amusements. This history since 1929 makes it a pivotal part of our heritage. Its replacement with a hotel could be disastrous for the economy of the entire Island. We strive to honor and protect this history by offering options for a new version of Wonderland. A more sustainable Wonderland for future generations.
